Welcome to Reach for Change contest

Reach for Change is a competition of social projects designed to help change the life of children for the better. The aim of the charity fund Reach for Change is to unite the intellectual, organizational and financial resources of the business and social community for the benefit of the coming generation.


The contest is aimed at providing support to enterprising, creative and motivated people who try to make a difference for the life of young children and teenagers. The applicants are expected to come forward with innovative ideas of projects that are still at an early stage of implementation; the projects have to exhibit a certain potential of sustainability and be capable of involving a large number of children (or transferring the experience gained), of systemic changes in the sphere of improving the life of youngsters. An applicant can be a member of a non-profit organization or a person intending to set up a non-profit organization.


The participants will be screened in a multi-stage process. On December 5, 2012, the results of the expert examination will determine six winners. The jury includes top managers of the partner companies: Tele2, Viasat Channels, STS Media Group and the Metro newspaper - of Kinnevik Group.


The winners will join the international community of social entrepreneurs embracing currently 30 individuals from Sweden, Russia and Ghana.

They will get access to financing in the amount equivalent to the annual salary of a manager employed in a business of their region for at least 12 months, promotional support and advice from the leading officers of the partner companies. The winners will also be provided with mobile communication services from Tele2 Russia.


Applications are expected at reachforchange.ru until 00:00 October 10, 2012.
