Our Programmes

Business for a Healthy Society

Health statistics continue to show low age expectancy and high disease incidence. Apart from absenteeism, poor health has a negative effect on the profitability of business by increasing the cost of pension schemes, health insurance and recruitment, and reducing productivity. IBLF’s programmes help companies to take action by focusing on poor health prevention in the workplace and the community.

Preparing Young People for the New Economy

In a recent survey, CEOs said their main challenge is recruitment of talent. Our initiatives are aimed at developing youth employability, financial capability, leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and encouraging business to take a more active role in supporting education.

Improving Business Standards

As Russian business integrates into the international markets, companies are finding that they are increasingly have to adopt international standards in order to raise funding abroad and make acquisitions in other countries. IBLF programmes bring together Russian and international companies to exchange experience in how to implement corporate governance and reduce the cost and risk of corruption.

Business and the Environment

As Russia’s industry grows, so too do its emissions and waste. With widespread concern from civil society groups and local governments about the state of environment, IBLF’s environment programme enables the leading companies in Russia to exchange best practices in environmental management, and to explore possibilities of turning environmental costs into new business opportunities.

Training and Conferences

IBLF’s team has years of experience in business consultancy and training in the area of corporate social strategy. This knowledge is made available to our Corporate Members on a case-by-case basis. Our team often speak at business conferences, and provide training in various fora. IBLF organises its own annual CSR conference in Moscow.

Russian Business Summit

The annual Russian Business Summit brings together the leaders of our Corporate Members for an in-depth exchange on the critical business topic of the day, and how business can support the social and economic development of Russia.

Publications

Our projects help to highlight best practices of companies in Russia. The publications seek to share this information with a wide range of business executives, government officials, representatives of NGOs, academia and the press.
