At the invitation of IBLF, business leaders are getting together to discuss the course of implementation of anti-corruption initiatives in Russia.
Prominent corporate leaders are due to meet in Moscow to exchange views on implementation of anti-corruption initiatives in Russia. Special invitation has been extended to Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow Andrei Sharonov who is going to tell about the collaboration of the Moscow Government with major foreign companies on the issue of improvement of the city’s public procurement procedure. The keynote speaker will be Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurria. The agenda is expected to include reports by president of B20 Taskforce on Transparency and Anti-corruption Senior Managing Director of Interros Andrei Bugrov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Andrei Sharonov, CEO of Phillips Russia Arjian de Jongste, Vice President of Siemens Russia Sergey Krilov, Head of the Branch Office IBLF in Russia Boric Tkachenko, Managing Partner of KPMG Oleg Goshchansky. The key topic for discussion will be the practice of fostering public procurement procedure in Moscow initiated by IBLF, which has engaged a number of Russian and international companies in the work on developing the municipal standards. The meeting will continue with the report entitled From Corporate Compliance to Corporate Actions to be delivered by Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurria. He is also expected to give a personal view of his previous meeting with the Chairman of the RF Government. | |
