Practices and Key Areas in Combating Corruption in Public Procurement

International Conference “Practices and Key Areas in Combating Corruption in Public Procurement” is organized by the Government of Moscow with the support of International Business Leaders Forum within the framework of the International Anti-Corruption Day.

The conference is intended to promote a dialogue between business, academic community and the Government of Moscow with the view of curbing fraudulent activities in public procurement and building the capacity of public officials.

 Conference goals:

- To set up a platform for discussing and analyzing the initiatives and recommendations of the UN, World Bank, OECD and other international organizations that would be open to the business community, public and civic entities engaged in anticorruption activities in the field of public procurement.

- To share experience and prepare well-balanced recommendations on implementation of the best anticorruption practices in the public procurement system of Moscow.

- To specify practical steps for furthering the efficiency, openness and transparency of the Moscow public procurement system.

·       Various approaches to assessment of corruption risks in public procurement and systemic measures to eliminate those risks. International and Russian experience.
