The Forum on Mentoring in Entrepreneurship “Mentor for Entrepreneur: Ladder to Success” was held on the 25th of November at the premises of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

On the 27th of November, 2015, the round table on Introduction and Implementation of Mentoring Programmes at Universities and Colleges in Russia was hold as part of the agenda of the Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship at the premises of Synergy University. The round table was organized by the Russian Association for Entrepreneurship Education, Synergy University and IBLF Russia.

On the 27th of November, 2015, the members of Youth Business Russia programme carried out awareness-raising seminar on mentoring, in the frame of the agenda of the Russian Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship, for the partners of the Centre for Entrepreneurship going to integrate mentoring into Business Accelerator regional programmes. The seminar was organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and IBLF Russia, the leading organization in mentoring in entrepreneurship in Russia managing Youth Business Russia programme.

Evgeny Kulik, entrepreneur from Rostov-on-Don and YBR participant as mentor, on winning in Industrial Production category at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015. The final of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards took place on the 26th of November in Moscow.

Evgeny’s mentee, a young entrepreneur Maxim Oleynikov was announced the winner in Innovation Business category at the Russian National Young Entrepreneur 2015.

Several events for students and young entrepreneurs were held at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics as part of the agenda of the Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship and under the auspices of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

Brook Horowitz, CEO of IBLF Global, was at the Sochi International Investment Forum to moderate a round-table discussion of Mayor of Moscow Sobyanin with 25 business leaders from the international investment community.

IBLF’s Youth Business Russia programme became a partner of the Russian Association for Entrepreneurship Education (ROAP) and Centre for Entrepreneurship for organization of All-Russia competition of graduate thesis in entrepreneurship.

Boris Tkachenko, Head of IBLF Russia, spoke about importance of mentorship for social entrepreneurs at the round table as a part of the International Social Business Day that took place on June 25 at the premises of The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Moscow.
