June 29, 2012, Head of International Business Leaders Forum Branch in Russia, Youth Business Russia Programme Manager Boris Tkachenko made a report at the regular plenary meeting of Leader Civic Assembly, Voronezh regional non-government organization.

International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), at the invitation of UN Secretariat, took part at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20. IBLF team members headed by Clare Melford, CEO, attended several events both as participants and speakers, participated in discussions and round tables in the framework of the Conference. IBLF Russia was presented by Boris Tkachenko, Head of IBLF Russia and Programme Director, and Polina Kalnitskaya, Senior Consultant.

Baker & McKenzie teamed up with IBLF to hold a seminar “When Confidence is Lost: Labor Relations if an Employee is Caught Causing Wilful Damage to the Employer”.

On June 5, 2012, the first meeting of Selection Panel in Rostov-on-Don took place.

On May 25, the Moscow Mayor’s office held a press conference announcing the launch of the Youth Business Russia programme in Moscow.

YBR participants from Voronezh Region had 2-hour online session with the participants of youth entrepreneurship programme of Scotland.  

On 24 April IBLF, the Independent Directors Association and PwC hosted the fourth forum for directors on Russian boards “What keeps you up at night? Strategy and risk management on Russian boards”.

On April 9th in the office of Sovcomflot a meeting of CEOs of Russian and international companies took place. Meeting participants discussed the issue “Top Management Role in Prevention of Corruption Fraud Risk”.

The first results of the 1st year of implementation of Youth Business Russia Programme for support and development of youth entrepreneurship were finalized in Novosibirsk.

The official Rostov launch of the Youth Business Russia (YBR) programme took place on March 12, 2012.
