On May 19, 2011, the presentation of the results of the two years implementation of the Youth Business Russia Programme in the Voronezh Region took place.

Just one week after President Medvedev’s visit to Hong Kong, a leading investor and businessman was the star attraction at the Third Forum for Directors on Russian Boards.

The third meeting of Club members of “Youth Business Russia” programme in Voronezh Region (YBR in VR) was held in Voronezh Regional Resources Centre, one of the regional partners of the programme.

From 14th to 16th March, IBLF organised the visit to Moscow of Richard Alderman, Director of the UK’s Serious Fraud Office. The purpose of the visit was for him to introduce the Moscow business community to the UK Bribery Act and to familiarise himself with efforts being taken by the government and the business community in Russia to combat corruption.

On March, 16  the Accreditation Committee of The Prince’s Youth Business International (YBI) has approved the accreditation of Youth Business Russia.

On 15th of March 2011 IBLF with the support of the British Embassy, Baker & McKenzie, KPMG и Siemens organized a working dinner at the UK Ambassador’s Residence on the topic of “Setting the tone from the top – how business leaders can create a culture intolerant to corruption”

The UK Bribery Act is being introduced in the next few weeks and will have some major implications for business in Russia.
