NewsIBLF NewsThe IBLF Youth Business Russia programme participated in organization of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2014 that took place in MoscowIn March 2014, Youth Business Russia Programme (implemented by the International Business Leaders Forum), in partnership with the Moscow Government, co-organized the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2014 that took place in Moscow. The panel discussion ”How to Build New Entrepreneurs Generation” moderated by Helen Osborne (Youth Business International , YBI) proved to be one of the most popular parts at the Congress. Andrey Sharonov, Rector, Skolkovo Moscow School of Business and Lakshmi Venkatesan, director of the partner programme in India and YBI member.
The next session “Entrepreneurial Education as Business Success Factor” logically followed-up on the first one and has also received considerable audience. The discussion was organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship and held by Victor Sedov, President of the Center for Entrepreneurship, member of the Youth Business Russia Advisory Council and YBI member of the board of directors. Heated debate ran at the panel discussion “Mentoring: the Role in Entrepreneurship Development” moderated by John Cull, YBI mentoring advisor. Boris Tkachenko, Head of the IBLF Russia and Youth Business Russia Programme Manager; Julia Deans, CEO of The Canadian Youth Business Foundation; Kendal Netmaker, CEO, Neechie Gear, and Konstantin Fokin, General Director of the state-financed Moscow Innovation Development Centre spoke at the session. More than 700 young entrepreneurs from all over the world took part at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Moscow and highlighted that the Congress was informative and well organized. Young entrepreneurs had an opportunity to question the leading experts in entrepreneurship development, to exchange experience with budding businessmen from other countries and to establish new business contacts. | |||
