YBR: sharing experience with Serbia and Mongolia

At the end of October 2011, representatives from Smart Kolektiv (Serbia), Development Solutions (Mongolia) and from a global network of independent non-profit initiatives helping young people to start and grow their own business Youth Business International  (UK) visited Youth Business Russia (YBR) program. Serbia and Mongolia are interested in launching Youth Business programs in their countries and with this study tour they have aimed to see how this program operates in Russia. YBR management in details explained the structure and core components of the program and shared experience on its launch. In the frames of the visit, guests spent two days in Moscow and three days in Voronezh region, where they have participated in the local Selection Panel, met local coordinators and program’s main partners, mentors and young entrepreneurs. Foreign guests visited meeting of the YBR’s Club of the Entrepreneurs and were actively involved in discussing challenges and peculiarities entrepreneurs face in different countries.

During the visit, different implementation models for Serbia and Mongolia were discussed as well as what technical assistance from the side of YBR and YBI is needed. At the same time, this visit was very helpful for YBR, because beneficiaries shared their recommendations how the program can be improved in the nearest future.
