Top Management Role in Prevention of Corruption Fraud Risk

On April 9^th in the office of Sovcomflot a meeting of CEOs of Russian and international companies took place. Meeting participants discussed the issue “Top Management Role in Prevention of Corruption Fraud Risk”

What to do in case of serious evidence of major fraud inside a company? Each executive officer has to deal with the issue at least once in his or her career.

Personal attitude of a top manager, clearly showing his intolerance towards fraud is the key factor to build corporate culture that implies intolerance towards dishonest behavior at each level and in every activity. This was the conclusion made by participants of the discussion. The key speakers were:

• Dmitry Azarov, Vice-President, Siemens Russia and Central Asia, General Director of Industry Sector

The speakers shared their experience in building corporate structures that prevent dishonest behavior of employees and counteragents. The discussion was held in the framework of Siemens Integrity Initiative project. The meeting was organized by IBLF and Sovcomflot.
